Reiki is a gentle non-invasive complementary health approach that utilizes universal life force energy to enhance the body’s natural healing abilities. You may experience Reiki as feelings of joy, love, well-being, creativity, balance and other positive states of mind.
My Reiki journey began in 2021, when I was searching for a holistic modality for managing anxiety and calming my nervous system. After becoming certified and using Reiki as a daily self care practice, I discovered a greater sense of inner peace. Establishing a spiritual ritual that fostered a deeper connection between my mind, body and spirit also brought me more clarity. This connection has lead me to a more peaceful and grounded existence.
I am honored to be sharing Reiki with my family, friends and community. It is my hope and desire to use Reiki to help you on your wellness journey too.
I create a calming environment with the use of gentle healing frequency music. Because the health of my clients is of the utmost importance, my essential oils are ethically sourced and 100% organic. Along with aromotherapy, the soothing atmosphere is enhanced with the calming tones of my quartz crystal Reiki infused singing bowls or Tibetan sound bowls.
Your chakras will be balanced and your aura cleansed. As the Reiki energy moves through your body you may experience any of the following sensations: heat or coldness, tingling, vibrational buzzing, electrical sparks, numbness, and/or sleepiness.
Reiki energy works to soothe, release, or calm stored emotional tension and stress. Upon completion of your session, you'll feel as though you realigned and cleared your mind, body and spirit.

In-Person at your home
This option is for my clients who are unable to drive to me who I have previously had sessions with in the spa, or are referred by an existing client. I will bring the Reiki experience to you without the stress of the San Diego commute. You will experience a serene sanctuary in the comfort of your own home, allowing you to transition peacefully from renewal to rest without the need to hurry back anywhere.
On Location
All spaces have the ability to hold energy much like humans experiencing different moods. Interior spaces can store stagnant or accumulated energies left from previous residents, negative events, arguments and stress. Clearing can purify and recharge people, spaces, and energies around you bringing in positivity and light!
Clearing your space will consist of Reiki energy clearing, singing bowls and sage/palo santo smudging.
In the early twentieth century, Mikao Usui, a Japanese mystic, re-discovered Reiki during a 21-day meditation and fasting retreat on the sacred Mt. Kurama-yama in Japan. The term “Reiki” is but one name for the life force that is operational in all living things; Christians know it as the “Holy Spirit”, Hindus call it “Prana”, and the Sioux refer to “Wakan Tanka”, to name but a few. Because this energy is not “owned” by anyone or any practice, it available to all. Instead, he divinely received the gift of Reiki during an ongoing spiritual emergence that occurred during the 21-day fasting retreat. Subsequently, he channeled this energy for healing, as well as training others to access and utilize this divine gift.
Through Usui’s student, Chujiro Hayashi, Reiki was introduced to the Western world by Hawayo Takata in 1937. Its use and popularity has grown tremendously for the past several decades, and has become a widely accepted modality in complementary medicine.
Reiki and chakra balancing both use the same energy healing techniques to balance, heal and empower a person’s life. In fact, Reiki is considered one form of chakra balancing. Both rely on the metaphysical energy of an individual through their 7 major Chakras or spiritual energy centers in order to heal certain aspects of a human being from physical to spiritual. Like meditation and yoga, there aren’t negative effects of a belief in Chakras or Reiki healing.
There is much that science can’t yet explain when it comes to the way people interact with our physical world. Could the ancient teachings of Chakras and Reiki healing be more real than many people are willing to admit? I believe so!
A Reiki treatment is administered while the client is lying fully clothed and comfortable on a massage table. During a treatment, the practitioner’s hands may lightly touch, or hover slightly above, the client to allow the Reiki energy to flow into the physical and subtle body of the client. The practitioner becomes an instrument for the directed life force energy that flows through his or her hands into the individual; the Reiki energy is drawn by the needs of the client, and always flows to where it is most needed.
Although the experience is unique for each individual, the vast majority of clients report a feeling of warmth and radiance that fills, envelops, and surrounds their whole being. Indeed, Reiki is a holistic treatment that addresses imbalances and stresses in the body, emotions, mind, and spirit. This gentle method results in many benefits that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being.
Initially, 3-5 consecutive sessions have shown to be most beneficial as the Reiki treatments will build on each other. Please remember that it takes time for imbalances to occur and manifest, so it is understandable that multiple sessions may be the most beneficial in reversing these imbalances and to maintain a holistic balance of mind, body and spirit.
I had the wonderful opportunity of being invited to speak to a group of women at The Leonard Cancer Institute in Mission Viejo about the benefits of receiving Reiki as part of an integrative health plan during cancer treatment. Today, over 900 hospitals nationwide offer Reiki. The Cleveland Clinic has adopted Reiki as part of their healing modalities and offers it throughout the hospital and even in surgery rooms. Other hospitals such as UCLA, The Mayo Clinic, and Kaiser now offer Reiki.
As I experience Reiki as an art of compassion and connection, I was so thrilled to be able to share how people have experienced less anxiety and better relaxation during very stressful times. The American Cancer Society states that there are many patient reports supporting the effectiveness of Reiki with regard to refreshing the Spirit and improving an individuals sense of wellbeing. Studies have also shown that Reiki can increase comfort levels and enhance the body's ability to heal. Reiki works best when used as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
